Female Genital Surgery
Female cosmetic surgical procedures have become increasingly popular over the last few years. This is because society now accepts that women too expect sexual satisfaction and happiness in a relationship. Elective genital cosmetic surgery such as Vaginoplasty, Labiaplasty, and Hymen Repair (Hymenoplasty) helps to restore your confidence. Genital cosmetic surgery is not a topic that is commonly discussed or written about and so many women are not even aware of surgical techniques that are available to help them.
LABIAPLASTY (Labia reduction & Cosmetic Enhancement)
Labiaplasty is a cosmetic genital surgical procedure that will reduce the size or change the shape of the small lips on the outside of the vagina (the labia minora). Many women are born with large or irregular labia and others can develop this after childbirth or with aging. Large or irregular labia can make women embarrassed about their genitalia.
Women who wear tight underclothes can be troubled with chronic irritation of the labia if the labia is large. This can produce discomfort during sex, sports or other physical activities. Labiaplasty can improve the general appearance of the labia and also provide relief from the discomfort.
With age and childbirth the vaginal muscles become lax and the vagina loses it tightness. Vaginoplasty is a surgical technique that will serve to tighten the vaginal muscles thus enhancing pleasure during sexual intercourse.
HYMENOPLASTY (Hymen Reconstruction)
Hymen is a the thin, ring-like skin membrane partially covering the opening of the vagina. Hymen tears usually with the first sexsual intercourse and slight bleeding may occur. Hymen can tear even without sexual intercourse with severe physical activity like horse riding or cycling. Though the hymen does not play a part in sexual intercourse, its presence is thought to be a proof of virginity in many cultures. Hymenoplasty is a surgical technique which restores this membrane if required for social or other reasons.
Like all surgery, this should also be performed by a trained and registered plastic and cosmetic surgeon.
